| DAY 1 - Trivandrum - Kottarakkara |
|
Our friendly local representative will cordially receive you at the Trivandrum Airport / Kollam Railway Station. Transfer to Highland Hotel & Resorts in Kottarakkara. It’s the birthplace of Kathakali, the Art form of Kerala. Visit the Kathakali Museum at Kottarakkara and relax in the hotel for next day’s tour. Stay overnight at Highland Hotel & Resorts. |

After breakfast, move on to Thenmala, India's first planned Eco tourism project & dam nearby. | DAY 4 - Kottarakkara – Kumarakom |

After breakfast, head towards Kumarakom / Alleppey and then, enjoy the famous Kerala House boat tour at Alleppey - Kumarakom Lake – Get on board a House boat to start the trip over Vembanad Lake - Backwater cruise that takes you through the Paddy fields, coconut lagoons, Narrow canals, Coir villages etc. Lunch in the House boat will comprise of traditional Kerala dishes. Spend entire day in the House boat. Stay overnight at Alleppey - Kumarakom Resorts / Transfer to Munnar. |

After breakfast, proceed to Munnar (170 kms – 4 hrs). Munnar is 1800 Mts. above sea level and also South India’s highest peak ( Anamudi–2695mts). Enroute, experience the breathtaking scenery with forests, waterfalls and tea gardens. Check into the resort. At noon set out for a heavenly sightseeing tour in and around Munnar’s magical hills. Have a hearty breakfast and head towards Thekkady Wild Life sanctuary. Go for a boat safari over the sanctuary lake. Then pay a visit to the renowned Tea-Cardamom plantations, Periyar Wildlife sanctuary, Spice plantations etc. Stay overnight at Thekkady Resort. |

| DAY 8 - Thekkady – Madurai |

Drive to Madurai after breakfast. Enjoy the best ever natural greenery all the way until you reach Madurai. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. In the evening, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Madurai city. | DAY 9 - Madurai – Thanjavur |

Relish a tasty breakfast and then drive to Thanjavur – the Temple City. Thanjavur was the capital of ancient Indian architecture. In the evening, tour the famous tourist spots - The spectacular Rock Fort Temple. This temple is the city’s prominent landmark and is located on the shores of the river Kaveri. It is perched on a massive rocky outcrop at an altitude of 83mts above sea level. In the afternoon visit the Brihadeshwara Fort and Temple, Thanjavur Palace and Museum. | DAY 11 - Chennai-Mahabalipuram |

Have your breakfast and then drive to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram, which is famous for its hand woven silk fabrics. Visit the world famous silk looms at Kanchipuram and the renowned Marina Beach (Second longest beach in the world). Stop to view the man made sculptures at Mahabalipuram and the Penance of Bhagirata, the world's largest bas relief, also known as ' Arjuna's Penance'. |

After a wholesome breakfast, go for sightseeing in Bangalore. The Vidhan Soudha is one of the main tourist attractions in Bangalore. The building is a massive neo-Dravidian architecture presently functioning as the State Legislative Assembly. The Cubbon Park in the heart of the city, Lal Bagh (famous for its blooming red roses), and the Bangalore Palace are some of the other must see attractions of this Garden city. Make a trip to Tipu Sultan’s Palace and the adjoining fort. These landmarks are fine examples of Indo-Islamic architecture which also offer a glimpse into the Mughal lifestyle of that era.
